Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – Weeks after Amber Heard filed for a divorce from her husband of 15 months, Johnny Depp, the actress has withdrawn her request for spousal support from the actor.

The spousal support matter would have been discussed in the Friday hearing, which will tackle the restraining order issue. Heard requested for $50,000 per month from Depp but a judge denied it after granting the temporary restraining order from Depp.

As per the court documents, Heard asked for the money because she thought it was the standard procedure in a divorce case. However, she is cancelling her request because she says that it is being used against her to “distract and divert the public away from the very serious real issue of domestic violence.” The documents did clear, however, that Heard can request for spousal support in the future.

Heard has alleged Depp of domestic abuse during their relationship. She has also released different photos showing her bruised face and a cut lip.

The withdrawal of the spousal support request comes a week after Heard tried to postpone giving an official deposition about the matter. Heard will not be available for the deposition because of her busy schedule. The deposition was supposed to be made before the June 17 hearing. She will be flying to New Jersey for a friend’s engagement party and then has to fly to London for a fitting for “Justice League.”

The lawyer of Heard, Samantha Spector , talked about the schedule of Heard and wanted to push back the hearing to prepare for the case. The lawyer of Depp, Laure Wasser , wanted to hold the deposition before Heard’s schedule got busy and wanted to have the hearing as soon as possible to avoid further damage to the career of her client.

As for the restraining order, Depp reportedly sent his employees to the shared home with Heard in order to collect some of his things. However, Heard believed it was a violation of the restraining order so she called the cops. A lawyer said that Depp did not violate the order as he got items that he possessed and it was also in compliance with the court’s “move out order.”
