Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – Amber Tamblyn is speaking out amid the Donald Trump latest controversy after he made comments about women with NBC “Today” host Billy Bush and she said that she was sexually assaulted in the past.

The actress took to Instagram to say that she needs to tell her fans and her followers a story. She noted that she was supported by her husband in deciding to do such and she needs to share it to the public. The post of the actress was that of a photo of the GOP nominee and she wrote a lengthy caption about the matter.

Tamblyn said that she was once with a man who was emotionally and physically abusive towards her. One night, she was with her girlfriends in Hollywood and were listening to a DJ they loved. She noted that there was a high probability that she would see her ex but she felt protected because her girlfriends were around.

She added, “Without going into all the of the details, I will tell you that my ex did show up, and came up to me in the crowd. He's a big guy, taller than me. The minute he saw me, he picked me up with one hand by my hair and with his other hand, he grabbed me under my skirt by my vagina— my p—y?— and lifted me up off the floor, literally, and carried me, like something he owned, like a piece of trash, out of the club.”

The 33-year-old said that she screamed, kicked, and cried while her friends followed them trying to stop him. His brothers then intervened when they saw what he was doing to Tamblyn . She continued, “In the scuffle he grabbed at my clothes, trying to hold onto me, screaming at me, and inadvertently ripped off my grandmother's necklace, which I was wearing. The rest of this night is a blur I do not remember.”

The “Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants” then ended her post saying that to this day she remembers the moment and the shame. She also said that if this story ever reaches her parents, specifically her father, it would break his heart and she could not take that. However, she decided to tell the story because she felt the need to do so.

Tamblyn is supporting Hillary Clinton.
