Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have released a joint statement weeks ago about their divorce, which will be ending their two-year marriage, and the actor reportedly reunited with his kids for the first time since the news broke.

In the divorce filing by Jolie, she asked for sole physical custody over their six children and Pitt was granted visitation rights. However, due to the inquiry about the report that Pitt got physical with their oldest child, Maddox, while on a plane back to Los Angeles from Paris, he had to undergo certain requirements in order to be able to spend time with his children.

According to reports, the actor met with some and not all of their children on October 8. This comes after the September 19 divorce filing of Jolie. As per the recommendation of Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services ( DCFS ) and with the agreement of both Jolie and Pitt, he could see the children with the presence of a therapist.

Sources have been saying that Pitt is willing to do whatever he has to in order to spend time with his children. He also reportedly voluntarily underwent drug and alcohol test in order to prove that he will do anything for his children.

An insider shared, “Brad loves his children more than anything in this world, and they matter more than anything else to him. He will do whatever it takes to be with them, now and always.” It remains unknown what happened during the first ever meeting of some of the kids and Pitt after the divorce announcement.

The DCFS also recommended that the arrangement will last until October 20. Pitt and Jolie will be undergoing individual counseling and family therapy.

Jolie reportedly does not plan to have sole physical custody over the children forever but believes it is the best way to handle things as of the moment.
