Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – The 66-year-old former Olympian and reality star, Caitlyn Jenner , recently opened up about taking her own life during her transition into a woman.

Jenner talked about the paparazzi photos that circulated after she underwent the surgery on her Adam’s apple. Jenner was interviewed by Bill Simmons on the HBO show “Any Given Wednesday” and she said that the photo showed her leaving the doctor’s office in February 2014. She shared, “I could not sleep that night. I’m up at 3 a.m. walking up and down my hallway, thinking, Damn, all this s**t is going to come out tomorrow and it’s going to be horrible. And I said, ‘You know what? Easy way. Go in the other room. You got a gun. Let’s just end it right here.’”

She pointed out that taking her own life is the easy way out as she will no longer experience pain or anything and she will no longer have to deal with the tabloids. She revealed that she felt that was the lowest point of her life.

The next day, Jenner said that she realized she did not want to end her life story on a negative note. She said that she made herself believe that she can do whatever she is doing regarding her transition.

Jenner then shared to Simmons that the past 18 months has been the best of her life since revealing to the public that she is no longer Bruce Jenner . She shared that she has never been this happy and more at ease with herself.

She also told a story about Las Vegas. Jenner said that days ago, she was in Las Vegas to give a speech, which was so different to what she did before. She pointed out that she liked going to Vegas in the past in order to sneak around wherein she would go to her hotel room, cross-dress, go out, and walk around.

Jenner revealed, “I would never talk to anybody because I knew my voice would give me away, and I never got caught. I could go out and just be myself and just walk around. But I had two suitcases. I'd have to talk the nail polish off, then put the nail polish back on. My life was so complicated, you know? And I'm struggling with all these issues.”

The star of the E! docu-series “I Am Cait” said that her life is so much simpler now as well as interesting.
