Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – The British DJ and boyfriend of songstress Taylor Swift got involved in a car accident resulting to him cancelling another concert due to the crash.

Harris was reportedly transported to a hospital after the crash with a cut in his nose. The collision took place in Los Angeles at around 11 P.M. on Friday.

Accordingly, the music producer was not the driver of the car as he was the passenger in a Cadillac. The vehicle then collided with a Volkswagen Beetle in Coldwater Canyon, which is near Beverly Hills. A Los Angeles Police Department spokeswoman added, “A vehicle crossed the center line and collided with an SUV which Harris was a passenger in. In the other vehicle a juvenile was ejected from the vehicle for not wearing a seatbelt and suffered a broken pelvis. All the passengers in the car were juveniles.”

It was not clear who was the driver of the Cadillac but the driver of the Volkswagen Beetle is said to be a 16year-old girl.

Due to the incident, Harris was forced to pull out from his supposed performance at the Omnia night club in Las Vegas. He also had to pull out from the headline slot at the Hangout festival in Alabama, which was set on Saturday evening. Doctors advised him to take a few days off from his scheduled activities in order for him to recover.

A spokeswoman for Harris said in a statement that he has since checked out of the hospital. The statement also said, “We wish all the other passengers involved in the incident a fast recovery.” Accordingly, Harris was on his way to the airport to go to his gig at Omnia .

The new photos from the scene of the crash showed the Volkswagen Beetle smashing into the side of the Cadillac.
