Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – Singer Charlie Puth has made fans unhappy after he took to Twitter to announce that he is cancelling the rest of his “Don’t Talk” tour due to being physically unfit.

The affected performances of the cancelled “Don’t Talk” tour include those in Denver, Los Angeles, Nashville, Philadelphia, and St. Louis. He wrote, “Unfortunately I have to cancel the remaining dates on my “Don’t Talk” tour. This is the last thing I want because I love being on the road performing and meeting every one of you. You are the reason I can do what I love most for a living and I am so thankful.”

He added that he has been extremely sick these past days and he has not taken the time that he needs in order for his body to recover. Puth noted that resting and taking time off of the rad is the only way he can get better so he can start performing for his fans again. Towards the end of his lengthy post, Puth said that he promises to do whatever he can to make it up to the fans he will not be seeing as per the cancelled remaining tour dates and apologized once again.

It is unclear how long he has been struggling with his health. Puth cancelled his Raleigh show earlier this month saying that he had the flu and has lost his voice.

The announcement of the cancellation comes a day after the “Marvin Gaye” singer was at the Hollywood Bowl to perform at CBS Radio’s We Can Survive Concert. He told the crowd that he was recovering from the flu. He was able to perform his hits “We Don’t Talk Anymore” and “One Call Away.” He had a 30-minute set at the event.
