Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – Charlie Sheen’s ex-wife, Brooke Mueller, is asking her former husband to pay $89,000 for child support, reports have confirmed.
Accordingly, Mueller and Sheen have two children, who are named Bob and Max. The twins are now seven years old and are in the primary custody of their mother. Sheen and Mueller divorced back in 2011 after being married for nearly three years.
As per the divorce papers, 50-year-old Sheen must pay $55,000 in child support, which is divided into two. The money should be given every first of the month. However, Mueller’s lawyer said in April 7 that this month and last month, the actor only paid Mueller $10,563 in child support so he know owes her $88,874. The documents claim that the actor is in violation of his child support obligations.
Sheen also pays the same child support to his ex-wife Denise Richards, 45. He shares two daughters with her namely Sam, 12, and Lola, 10.
Back in March, Sheen has filed court papers to seek to reduce his child support to Mueller. He cited that his income has changed significantly since 2011 and that he has additional housing expenses for his children. Sheen said that he made a total of $613, 421 per month from the proceeds of his participation rights of the show “Two and a Half Men.” He also said that he earns an average of $87, 384 per month for his acting services.
In his documents, he also said that he has more than $5.2 million in property and other assets. However, he pays more than $105,000 monthly for his expenses and is over $12.4 million in debt for multiple mortgages, vehicle loans, and credit card payments.
The actor, who said that he is HIV-positive, also said in his previous interviews that he was extorted a total of $10 million by people who wanted to expose his secret.
Sheen and his representatives are yet to comment regarding Mueller’s suit.
