Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – Emilia Clarke is taking on role after role as she is well-known for her “Game of Thrones” character Daenerys Targaryen and now she has become the leading woman in the new movie “Me Before You” but the actress still has rules to obey in order to last in the showbiz industry.
The actress was interviewed recently and she is not exempted from the negative comments made by haters especially on social media such as Instagram and Twitter. When asked about what she is doing in order to keep herself away from the bashers, Clarke said that she sticks by the rule of not googling herself.
She shared that she is on social media but she refrains from looking at the things that they tag her as it messes her up. She added, “Like, 'Oh, I'm hideous and fat,' but then if I don’t read it, you save yourself from finding any haters out there. If you hate me, I don’t need to know.”
There is also some positive things regarding her fame as she does not look like her character Daenerys Targaryen on regular days. For starters, Daenerys is blonde in the series while Clarke’s real hair color is brunette. She pointed out that she does not get a lot of people following her and screaming at her so she is able to still do what she loves all the time.
However, that might change in a few weeks as Clarke will be starring in “Me Before You.” Clarke looks a lot like her real self as compared to the leading lady she plays in the romantic movie Louisa Clark.
In another interview with Screen Rant, the actress talked about how her role in the tear-jerking movie is different from the “Game of Thrones.” She shared that her “Me Before You” character is optimistic and happy and is a mix between Bridget Jones and Mary Poppins . However, she did say that her two characters have a lot of similarities as both are strong. The only difference is that Louisa smiles a lot while Daenerys most frequently does not.
