Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale have reportedly reached the settlement of their divorce making them closer to finalizing their separation.
The settlement comes eight months after the two announced their split. The settlement was filed with the court on April 11. Since the two did not sign a prenuptial agreement, the two will split everything they acquired during their marriage 50/50 as per the California law.
The two were married for 13 years and reports say that Rossdale did not ask for his share of the millions of money of Stefani. He also reportedly took less than 50 percent as per their property ownership.
As for their children, Kingston, Zuma , and Apollo, they agreed to a 50/50 joint custody but Rossdale will most likely have the boys more than 50 percent of the time as Stefani will be busy this coming months for her anticipated tour. She recently released her album called “This Is What The Truth Feels Like” last March 18 and it is mainly about her breakup and her new romance with Blake Shelton. All that is left for now is a judge to sign the agreement and their marriage will be officially over.
During an April 4 appearance on “Good Morning America,” Stefani shared, "It's still painful. I'm looking at the pieces and going, ‘What is happening?’ There’s so many great things, but it's still super-hard to have your family break up. What do you do after that? Here we are, we're doing it."
The two are yet to comment on the reports about their agreement for their divorce. They have not yet clarified whether or not the articles about the settlement ring any truth.
It was reported in the past that the main reason for the split of Stefani and Rossdale was because he was cheating on his then-wife with their former nanny Mindy Mann.
