Calabasas, CA, United States (4E) – Kim Kardashian has revealed her thoughts on breastfeeding in public in her app and also talked about how her daughter, North West, sometimes becomes jealous of her brother, Saint West.
The reality star from the show “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” wrote "I know some people find breastfeeding such a private, personal experience, while other people are very open and even breastfeed in public. Now that I'm a mom, I say whatever makes you comfortable goes."
However, she did reveal that she is not comfortable feeding her second bundle of joy in public. She continued to cite that if she was in a restaurant and had to feed Saint, she won’t do it in front of a bunch of people starting at her.
She added, "I've seen this before and remember tweeting how shocked I was. Now that I'm a mom, I'm not that shocked, especially if you have a few kids and can't leave to breastfeed one kid in the bathroom while leaving the others at the table. But I still personally wouldn't do it, unless it was an emergency situation and I was fully covered."
She did, say, however, that she would be comfortable feeding her baby in front of her close friends and family and that she is okay with people who post breastfeeding photos on their social media accounts. She pointed out that breastfeeding is a natural experience and she is not shy about that except if she does it in front of people that she did not know.
Kardashian also said that people have their own opinions on how others should live their lives and her post is purely her thoughts and she tries not to be judgmental.
The mother of two also dished about her eldest probably getting jealous that Saint gets more time than her. Kardashian shared that breast-feeding is time consuming and she rarely has enough time for North. She shared, "North hates when I feed the baby, and she lays on my lap so Saint can't be right in front of me to eat, LOL! I've started to include her: Sometimes I will pump and have her feed him the bottle. That totally worked! She loved helping me, as opposed to my attention being off of her, and now she is my little helper."
