Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – Mark Ballas might be sitting out this week again on “Dancing With The Stars” due to his injury, reports say.

Ballas’ partner, Paige VanZant reportedly did amazing with “Dancing With The Stars” troupe member Alan Bernsten last week after Ballas hurt his back before the episode started. Accordingly, Bernsten is still attending rehearsals so Ballas might not be reuniting with VanZant anytime soon.

Ballas shared, “There’s no fracture, thank God, but there is something other things going on that we’re just being careful of. I’ve had the MRI, the CT scan, the bone scan. I’ve been in physical therapy. I’m feeling okay. Every day is getting better.”

He added that he has not decided yet whether or not he will be appearing on the next episode of the show but he did choreograph this week’s dance.

As for Bernsten , Ballas shared that he has been attending rehearsals as they are all tag-teaming. He added, “I’ve been shadowing and figuring it out as we go…I’m getting in there, but I’m not doing it 100 [percent] yet.”

Last week, Bernsten had only two hours to practice the dance with VanZant and they scored 24 out of 30. If in case Bernsten and VanZant will be performing again this coming episode of “Dancing With The Stars,” fans feel that they might have a better score. VanZant shared about Ballas’ injury and Bernsten stepping in, "Allan stepped up and learned the routine very quickly. We had to change a lot of things, which was scary for me…everything was up in the air…I'm really happy I got to go out there and perform."

This is not the first time that Ballas suffered from an injury as he also had to stop his performance in Season 16. However, he had more time to rest back then.
