Hollywood, CA, United States (4E) – A new “Justice League” promotional photo surfaced online but it did not show Superman in it.
The teaser trailer of the new flick is yet to be revealed and that might answer the questions of the fans regarding Superman’s whereabouts. In the latest image, the gang shows Batman, Wonder Woman, Cyborg , The Flash, and Aquaman . Fog was seen on both sides of Batman and Aquaman and Superman was not in the photo. The superheroes were all suited up and stood in a row on the Flying Fox, which is the aircraft that was made by Batman as their transportation unit and their headquarters at the same time.
The image seems to be authentic as Ray Fisher, who plays the role of Cyborg on “Justice League,” tweeted about the same image on Sunday. Batman would be played by Ben Affleck, Wonder Woman will be played by Gal Gadot , The Flash will be played by Ezra Miller, and Aquaman will be played by Jason Momoa .
Although Superman is absent from the latest image released for “Justice League,” it has been reported that he will be returning to help the team even after his supposed death on “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.” Last year, a footage for the movie was also released at the San Diego Comic-Con and Superman was in it. An image during that time was also released and it featured Superman on the foreground. It is yet to be explained, however, why Superman is not in the new “Justice League” promotional photo.
The movie is slated to hit theaters in Nov. 17 this year.
