Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – The attorneys of Nick Gordon are claiming that their client tried to save the late Bobbi Kristina Brown echoing his statements that he had nothing to do with her death.

More than a year after she was discovered face down and unconscious in a bathtub, the autopsy results of the daughter of Whitney Houston have been released. The cause of death is said to be Lobar pneumonia, which is caused by Hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy and water immersion combined with mixed drug intoxication.

However, the manner of her death could not be defined as per a statement from Fulton County Medical Examiner. It then remains unclear if Brown was killed intentionally or she died accidentally. Her death is still under investigation.

Gordon has been accused of causing Brown brain damage and a $40 million civil lawsuit has been filed against him by her estate.

The lawyers of Gordon, Joe Habachy and Jose Baez then said, "The truth is that Nick tried to save Bobbi Kristina's life. The truth is that Nick cooperated with law enforcement since day one. The truth is that no one loved Bobbi Kristina more than Nick and no one has suffered more as a result of her death than [sic] Nick."

The attorneys pointed out that the life of Gordon has been tumultuous since January of 2015 as he was not allowed to visit Brown for the last six months of her life and he was publicly humiliated for more than a year.

They added, "The Fulton County District attorney's office even now continues to suggest that there is an ongoing investigation. However, at the recent hearing regarding unsealing the autopsy report, Fulton County Superior Court Judge Henry Newkirk repeatedly reiterated that the Fulton County District Attorney's Office has had thirteen months to investigate.”

Bobby Brown, Bobbi Kristina’s father, however, is not happy that the autopsy reports have been publicized while Gordon remains free. He said that the incidents are mind blowing to him and he asks the public to pray for his family.
