Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – Sarah Jessica Parker has made “Sex and the City” fans wonder if there really is a third installment of the franchise as she recently said in an interview that the possible third part of the flick is just around the corner.

Parker plays the role of the main character in the show, Carrie Bradshaw. She was interviewed recently on CBS’ “Sunday Morning” and she was asked about the possible part three of the movie. She shared, "I will say that the idea, it rests in the butler's pantry. Not on the table, but somebody is holding it fairly nearby." This is contrary to her statement last May that there are no plans for “Sex and the City” part three.

The last installment of “Sex and the City” was out six years ago. It might be true that “Sex and the City” part three is being worked on because 2018 is the twentieth anniversary of the show.

Parker was then asked about the characters of the movie and she shared that she imagines the women in the flick to have interest in looking ahead but informed by the past. She noted that this might be the best for all of them and to people in general.

As for the many people who loved the film and the series, she shared, “It’s a privilege. I feel we are a fairly intimate group, this gang of 10 million that watch the show. Do you know what I mean? So I feel it behooves me to be responsible to [them], and for every single thing I do.”

She also talked about her family. Parker is married to actor Matthew Broderick for almost 20 years now and they have three children together. A 13-year-old son and two seven-year-old twin daughters. When asked what happily married means to her, Parker shared that it is about the things that annoy her does not matter because they are grown-up people. She added, “I feel like sometimes it’s as simple as, I still like him so much. Like, he’s still the person that I hope I’m making proud. He’s still the smartest and the funniest to me.”
