Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – Kanye West recently debuted his song “Famous” for the new album “The Life Of Pablo” and in it, he talked about having sex with Taylor Swift and making her famous so Selena Gomez was asked about what she thought about the NSFW lyrics.

The lines of the song where Swift was mentioned says: "I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why, I made that b** ch famous / God damn / I made that b** ch famous.”

Gomez then said while being interviewed during SiriusXM Hits 1: "Everybody has their own opinion. At the end of the day, you can just do what you do." But when asked about West’s comments that he made Swift famous, due to the infamous 2009 MTV Video Music Awards when the rapper interrupted the singer while she was giving her thank you speech, Gomez said that her friend has been killing it and “has always been.”

West has been defending his lyrics saying that it is not a “diss” and that he even got an approval from both Swift and his wife Kim Kardashian . West tweeted last week: "I called Taylor and had a hour long convo with her about the line and she thought it was funny and gave her blessings.”

However, a representative of Swift said that the rapper did not call the singer or her team for approval but to “ask Taylor to release his single 'Famous' on her Twitter account. She declined and cautioned him about releasing a song with such a strong misogynistic message.Taylor was never made aware of the actual lyric, 'I made that bitch famous.'”

Swift is yet to give a comment about the controversial lyrics and clear if there is any bad blood between the two for releasing the song. Swift is recently busy with her concert tour for her album 1989.
