Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – Soulja Boy just announced on Twitter that he has signed for a $400 million deal but it remains unclear if this is true or not.

The series of tweets by the rapper were up on Twitter on May 1 at around 1:31 in the morning and continued until 2:02 A.M. The first tweet of Soulja Boy says: “Fuck everybody who doubted me I'm Finna change my number.”

He then went on to give a shout out to Beyonce, whom he referred to as the queen. He used the hashtags “#Lemonade” and “#holdup” in his second tweet. “Hold Up” is one of the songs of Beyonce on her Lemonade album and he was credited as one of the writers of the song. Soulja Boy was given credit for the aforementioned song using his birth name, Deandre Way. It is possible that the $ 400M deal is related to Beyonce’s albu .

The big announcement on Twitter by the rapper then came in minutes later. The whole tweet reads: “$400 million deal confirmed. I still they think they low balled me though. I was thinking 2 or 3 billion.” He followed it up with another tweet saying that CBS, Fox, and Forbes have been fighting over to have his story. It was unclear if he meant his life story or the reason behind his tweet about scoring a $400 million deal.

Aside from his tweets, the rapper also took to Instagram to post photos of himself holding some cash. He wrote alongside the photo of him: “From being worth 25 million at 25 to being offered 400million and closing out the deal? Just think about where I came from no man seriously!”

Soulja Boy has had other business ventures in the past such as SBeezy Lights, Soulja Board-branded hoverboards , as well as the official Soulja Boy app. The app allows people to chat with the rapper.

The rapper from Atlanta has become a success after he released his song Crank That ( Soulja Boy) at the age of 17 back in 2007. Three years later, he landed on the 2010 Forbes’ list of “Hip Hop Cash Kings” for being able to generate more than $7 million dollars for that year alone. Accordingly, the rapper has made millions of dollars from ringtone sales and is mostly still receiving publishing royalties from his 2007 hit song.

Soulja Boy is currently on a European tour and he announced that there will be another album, which will be coming out this June 1 and is entitled “Better Late Than Never.”
