Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – Stacey Dash scored a job on Fox News as a contributor since 2014 after being outspoken regarding conservative views but it was revealed recently that she has been fired form her post.

The network decided to part ways with the controversial actress turned political pundit but the reason behind the firing was not revealed yet. Dash has not been seen on air since last September because Fox News decided not to renew her contract last October. Although no longer part of Fox News, her Twitter page still says that she is a contributor for the network.

The 50-year-old actress best known for her role on “Clueless” made headlines during her time on Fox News. Just last December 2015, she was suspended after she cursed on air while sharing her views on President Barack Obama’s speech regarding terrorism.

During that time, Fox News' senior executive vice president Bill Shine said in a statement that Dash’s cursing was completely inappropriate and unacceptable. After she was suspended, Dash took to Twitter to say that she would gladly accept the consequences and did not apologize for the cursing.

In January 2016, the actress appeared on “Fox & Friends” and brought up her idea saying that Black History Month should not be a thing because she does not want segregation. She added, “We have to make up our minds. Either we want to have segregation or integration. And if we don't want segregation, then we need to rid of channels like BET and the BET Awards and the (NAACP) Image Awards where you're only awarded if you're black. If it were the other way around, we would be up in arms. It's a double standard."

In another interview, she talked about transgender rights. She said, "Why do I have to suffer because you can't decide what you want to be that day? It's your body. So, it's your decision, right? We all make choices." This was during the hot topic regarding the bathroom bills wherein transgender people are not allowed to use the bathroom of their choice but have to abide by what their gender dictates on their birth certificate.
