Hollywood, CA, United States (4E) – George R.R. Martin's next book, "The Winds of Winter," will reportedly be out after the release of HBO's "Game of Thrones" Season 7 finale.
In a recent interview with Martin, the author of the first five books and the much-awaited sixth installment, talked about the delay of "The Winds of Winter." He shared that he has been busy with so many things that it has been quite difficult to complete "The Winds of Winter.”
Martin then fueled the reports that "The Winds of Winter" will be out sometime next year after the "Game of Thrones" Season 7 finale when he said, "I do have thousands of pages of fake history of everything that led up to 'Game of Thrones,' so there's a lot of material there and I'm writing more. At the moment we still have this show to finish and I still have two books to finish so that's all speculation."
Although Martin made it clear that there will be a delay for "The Winds of Winter," he sort of assured fans that it is coming out even if it is at a later time than expected. This then debunked rumors that "The Winds of Winter" is not coming out at all.
Just recently, a preview of "The Winds of Winter" was featured in the "A Game of Thrones: Enhanced Edition." It was released last September 29 on Apple's iBooks . It could be availed for the price of $8.99.
As for the other rumors, it is believed that "The Winds of Winter" will not be released at all because Martin is not working on it and has no plans of doing so. Accordingly, Martin is mad at his fans and the followers of his works because they are rushing him. That is reportedly the reason why he will no longer release "The Winds of Winter."
"Game of Thrones" Season 7 will be out by next year so "The Winds of Winter" might be released also by next year or early 2018.
