Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – James Corden was crushed by fastest man on earth Usain Bolt as the two battled it out in the segment “Drop the Mic.”

At one point, Bolt let Corden wear his medals making the crowd go wild. The segment “Drop the Mic” is a part of Corden’s “The Late Late Show With James Corden” and Bolt was his guest for the November 23 episode. It was also reported that Corden seemingly had this in the bag for the first minutes of “Drop the Mic” as he threw lines like after all the races that Bolt won in Brazil, he is about to lose to Corden who is just standing still. Corden continued to say that he knows athletes are not great at math but Bolt should realize that he has 14 gold medals less than U.S. Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps.

Corden also told Bolt that he has a career that people care only for once every four years then suggested that maybe the athlete could work for him as a personal assistant so the runner could bring coffee to the host. Bolt’s turn made Corden cringe because he started off strong by rapping, “You think you’re a star, but little do you know, most people in here think they’re watching the Kevin James show.” Bolt went on to mock Corden’s figure saying that the only time that the host could outrun the athlete is when someone yells dinner.

Bolt proceeded to ask Corden to hold his gold medals after unzipping his jacket. The athlete said, "I have nine gold medals, last time I checked – I have one for every time that you had s**." Bolt also rapped about Corden considering to change his job from being a host to an Uber driver.

For the last round of the rap battle, Corden advised Bolt to stop taking photos at clubs with girls around since he was rumored to be cheating on his girlfriend months ago. The fans were then asked who won between Corden and Bolt via screaming and clapping louder for who they are voting for. It was clear that Bolt won Wednesday’s “Drop the Mic” rap battle.
