Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – Vin Diesel has revealed the latest poster for “Furious 8” and this is the first ever promotional item released for the franchise without the late actor Paul Walker.

Diesel took to Facebook on April 19 to share the poster. It is still unofficial as well as the title but Diesel decided to unveil it on his personal Facebook page. In the latest photo, the 44-year-old actor was seen staring out at nothing while standing beside a black vehicle. The words “New Roads Ahead” and “Furious 8” were on the photo as well as the date, April 14, which is said to be when the flick will be out in theaters.

It is possible that the poster posted by Diesel is a fan photo because it is rumored the eighth installment of the franchise will be entitled “Fast 8.” The post of Diesel did not have any caption. This will be the first ever flick of the franchise that Walker will not be seen. In “Furious 7,” he was still in some parts of the movie as he was still able to film some scenes before he died in a car crash in November 2013. His brothers were then called on set to complete some of the scenes with the use of editing.

During the People’s Choice Awards last January, Diesel won an award and he said during his thank you speech, “You know, as I was coming up here — I always do this, I say, ‘I’m not gonna get emotional about winning these awards,’ and I was cool while I was sitting in my seat, and then, they handed me two awards — one for favorite action movie and one for favorite film. You all thought that this was your favorite film. So, I think of Dom (his character) and Brian (Paul’s character), and I start to think of Paul.”

Last week, it was announced that Scott Eastwood will be taking on a key role in the sequel but it was unclear if he is taking over the lead once occupied by walker. Charlize Theron also recently signed on to play the main villain of the next installment.

Aside from Diesel, other recurring actor are Tyrese Gibson, Michelle Rodrigues , Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, and many more.
