Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – The former One Direction member, Zayn Malik , has released new details about his typical date night with girlfriend Gigi Hadid in an interview with Paper magazine.

Malik has been going on different interviews talking about his music and his solo album and this time, he gave more details about his relationship with the Victoria’s Secret model. The “PILLOWTALK” crooner shared that he is not so much of a party person as he does not enjoy it.

He added, “I like to have my own time and be at home, and I kind of need a partner with me to do that. I just like the security of that. It feels good to me. It feels right. We'll see each other tonight and probably watch a film. Netflix and chill. Yeah, we do that a lot.” The latest interview comes weeks after Hadid and Malik were reportedly over as he was spotted with a mystery blonde out on a hike.

Aside from watching movies, the couple also enjoys horseback riding. Hadid has been doing this since she was a child and Malik is being taught by her. Due to the intelligence of Hadid , Malik said that he has always found one’s intelligence attractive.

Malik continued to reveal, “When I learn something from somebody and they teach me something, that's an attractive thing for me. Obviously, I find physical appearance attractive as well, but it's definitely squared more towards a personality as I've gotten older because you can't have a long-term relationship unless you get on with the person. It doesn't matter really about the exterior.”

Malik has been in the headlines as of late as he recently cancelled a performance in London. He said that his anxiety was so bad that he had to postpone his appearance at London’s Capital Summertime Ball.

The 23-year-old took to Twitter to say that his anxiety haunted him throughout the last few months around live performances and it has gotten the better of him. He added that the magnitude of his anxiety is at its worst. Fans were very understanding about his situation as they responded saying that his health should be his priority.

In his latest interview, he seemed to be better at handling his success as he said, "I feel like everybody looks for some sort of approval from some form in their life, and my fans are my approval. It's a sense of achievement that you can't really explain."
