Adrienne Bailon breaks silence on gospel singer boyfriend, says he is not married

Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – Adrienne Bailon , the ex-girlfriend of Rob Kardashian , has cleared the air for the first time regarding her gospel singer boyfriend Israel Houghton and the reports that he is married.
Accordingly, the new couple has been criticized when Houghton announced his divorce one month prior to the two being seen vacationing together for the first time at the Dreams Tulum Resort & Spa in Tulum .
The 32-year-old TV personality then shared on her show "The Real," "I think I'm more than anything grateful that I have a platform like this, where I can be with my girls. The show is called “The Real” it is a place where we can speak about the truth. With that being said, the man pictured here is not married. Praise God."
She continued that Houghton is single adding, that she was not the cause of the divorce. She noted that divorces are “obviously a sad thing” and that people who go through it takes time to get through such.
The former Disney actress added, “I think people see an announcement was made at the top of the year and then they see these photos and then they think well let's put this together but this is why I'm grateful for things like this because it allows you to set the facts straight and God forbid the facts get in the way of a really juicy story. I'm going to say the truth and the truth of the matter is he isn't married. He obviously is divorced.”
Houghton as married five years ago and Bailon said she did not know her boyfriend at that time so there is no bearing to the reports that she was the cause of the divorce.
The Facebook post of Houghton last February reads: “It is with a collective heavy heart that we announce that after over 20 years of marriage and a long separation, Meleasa and I are officially divorced.” He added that he failed and sinned in his marriage and noted that they have been working on the divorce for the past five years.
As for Bailon , she recently ended her relationship with ex- fiancé Lenny Santiago last September of 2015.
