Alanis Morissette’s California home robbed, more than $2M worth of jewelry in a safe stolen

Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – Alanis Morissette’s California home was burglarized and more than $2 million worth of jewelry were taken as the safe where it was placed was stolen by the thieves.

The 42-year-old singer was not at her home when the thieves broke into the home last Thursday. It is unclear if there are other things missing from the home aside from the jewelries . The home of Morissette is located in the 2000 block of North Tigertail Road. The mansion of the Canadian singer is in the Brentwood area, which is now known for such crimes as it is one of the safest locations in the city.

Los Angeles Police Detective Meghan Aguilar sad that some damage was done to the home but did not elaborate. The Los Angeles Police Department’s Commercial Crimes Division is now investigating the incident. The division investigates high-end burglaries.

The burglary at Morissette’s home came after Nicki Minaj’s Westside home was burglarizes. More than $175,000 worth of jewelry was taken during the incident. It is unclear if the crimes are in any way related.

Morissette flaunts her jewelries on social media. Kim Kardashian also flaunts her jewelries on Instagram and she was robbed at gunpoint of more than $10 million worth of jewelries in October last year during the Paris Fashion Week.

The burglary at the home of Morissette also came after her business manager admitted to embezzling millions of dollars from the singer.

Morissette is married to Mario “Souleye” Treadway . Las year, they welcomed their second baby. The singer has not yet commented on the incident.
