New York City, NY, United States (4E) – Amy Schumer , her boyfriend Ben Hanisch , and a couple other friends went to see “Hamilton” on Broadway on Saturday evening and the actress reportedly left a $1000 tip to the bartenders.

According to one of the employees, identified as Madeleine DeJohn , the comedienne ordered a few drinks for her group. The drinks were reportedly ordered before the show and the manager gave the employees the requested drinks and filled them.

DeJohn continued, "Then at intermission, a member of her party came to the bar with another order and when he handed the receipt to my co-worker, he said ‘Amy wants to make sure you get this.' My co-worker looked at it and didn't know what to say."

The employee shared that this was not the first time that Schumer gave them a tip. A few months ago, the actress went there and gave them an $80 tip and DeJohn said she walked up to Schumer and thanked her. Reportedly, Schumer told her, “Of course, I’ve been there, I get it, you guys are great.” Schumer worked as a bartender in New York City before her career took koff . DeJohn continued, "Amy Schumer is really unbelievable, both as a performer and as a person. We couldn't thank her enough."

DeJohn shared that they have served a lot of celebrities at the show and they have received generous tips but not any of those tips in the past have reportedly came close to what the “Trainwreck” actress gave them.

Schumer did not talk about the tip but she did post a photo of her with some of the cast members of the show on her Instagram account. She wrote alongside the snap: " Abhhhhhh # hamilton #bunk. Our name is Alexander Hamilton."

The date night comes after Schumer and her new man enjoyed a tropical vacation with Jerry Seinfeld and his wife Jessica. Bridget Everett was also there with them.
