Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – Angelina Jolie and her children were reportedly interviewed by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and Brad Pitt got the chance to visit their kids for the second time.
According to reports, FBI interviewed the kids and the Jolie on Tuesday regarding the supposed incident wherein Pitt became physically and verbally abusive their eldest son, Maddox. The visit comes after Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt in September citing irreconcilable differences.
Sources claimed that two FBI agents went to the home of Jolie where they spent around three hours interviewing the kids and the estranged wife of the actor. Accordingly, the agents were there to determine whether or not there is enough evidence supporting the child abuse claims against Pitt to merit the ongoing investigation.
Reports said in a statement that the incident between Pitt and Maddox took place while they were on their flight home from France to the United States. The actor was reportedly drunk during the dispute with Maddox. This then resulted in Jolie seeking sole physical custody over their children.
The Los Angeles County Department of Child and Family Services was conducting an “ongoing” investigation into the incident but no other details have been released.
As for the second instance that Pitt has seen his children, it was reported that Maddox might have not met his father since the divorce filing. The 15-year-old is reportedly mad at Pitt and does not want to see him as of the moment.
The second visit was just like the first visit as there was a counselor present. The second visit is said to have lasted for 90 minutes at an undisclosed neutral location. An insider shared, "Brad wasn't as emotional as the first visit, but it was obvious that he was very happy to see the kids."
