Hollywood, CA, United States (4E) – Ashley Benson is reportedly leaving “Pretty Little Liars” as rumors flew after the show’s Season 6B finale that her character was kidnapped and fans believe she was murdered.
According to reports, the person who kidnapped and possibly murdered Benson’s character goes by the initials “A.D” and it remains unclear what will be her future in the show’s seventh season.
The show’s creator, Marlene King, said in an interview when asked about Benson’s fate: “Well, even when people are dead they still stay on our show. So that’s what I will say. Look at Andrea Parker! And Alison DiLaurentis ! It’s always been our goal, no one is safe from ‘A’ and no one is safe from being ‘A.'” It is then very possible that Benson’s character was indeed killed in the season finale.
Benson was also asked in a recent interview about the fate of her character and she told her fans that they should all hope that Hanna is okay. She did not spoil any other details as she added, “That’s all I can say. Let’s hope that she’s alive and doing well. It’s questionable at this point.”
Benson also hinted that she is not quite sure about the other characters making it to “Pretty Little Liars” Season 7. She added, “You know, it’s not out of the question. Marlene has hinted to that too, just to get the fans curious. I mean, it really could be Hanna, you never know. You may not see me next season guys.”
Benson is also working on other projects now such as “Pixels,” “Chronically Metropolitan,” and “Elvis & Nixon.”
Just a recap of the “Pretty Little Liars” Season 6 finale, it has been found out that Alison’s mother has a twin named Mary Drake, who is being played by Andrea Parker. She has teamed up with the husband of Alison to seek revenge for the death of her daughter Charlotte. That then makes it Charlotte and Alison being cousins. Parker will become a series regular in season 7 and fans will get to see more of her this summer.
