Avril Lavigne, Chad Kroeger reunite in studio; spark romance rumors

Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger split months ago but the two have reunited in the studio to create new music leading fans to speculate if the two have reunited romantically.

The 31-year-old songtress posted a photo of her with the 41-year-old Nickelback frontman showing them holding their instruments while at the recording studio on Tuesday evening. She did not place any caption on her latest Instagram post where she and Kroeger were all smiles leading the fans to wonder if they have reunited romantically.

Some of the comments of Lavigne’s followers are “Please stay together,” “You’re my last hope on love,” and “I love you Chavril !” She has not responded to any of the comments. However, an insider shared that Kroeger and Lavigne were not alone as they also spend time with other musicians such as Zane Carney and Stephan Hovsepian . Lavigne is said to be working on her follow-up to the self-titled fifth studio album, which was released in late 2013.

Lavigne has announced her separation from Kroeger back in September of 2015. The two have been married for two years. She posted a phot of them during their wedding on her Instagram account and wrote in the caption: "It is with heavy heart that Chad and I announce our separation today. Through not only the marriage, but the music as well, we've created many unforgettable moments.” She continued to say back then that she and Kroeger will continue to be the best of friends and that they will always care deeply for each other.

This is not the first time that the two have reunited in the studio. A month after the announced split, the two hit the studio together and in December 2015, they were also spotted leaving the leaving the Sunset Marquisin West Hollywood together. The two also appeared together at their first red carpet appearance in years during the annual pre-Grammys party last February 14 thrown by Clive Davis.
