Ben Affleck reveals he just completed rehab for alcohol addiction

Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – Ben Affleck took to Facebook to reveal he completed rehabilitation for alcohol addiction and said he did this in order to live a full and happy life with his kids.
The 44-year-old actor has three children with his estranged wife, Jennifer Garner. The two continue to co-parent despite announcing they have ended their 10-year marriage in 2015. Their children are 11-year-old Violet, eight-year-old Seraphina, and five-year-old Samuel.
He said in his post, “I want my kids to know there is no shame in getting help when you need it, and to be a source of strength for anyone out there who needs help but is afraid to take the first step. I’m lucky to have the love of my family and friends, including my co-parent, Jen, who has supported me and cared for our kids as I’ve done the work I set out to do. This was the first of many steps being taken towards a positive recovery.”
This is not the first time the actor entered rehab in 2001. He said during that time he went to rehab that time for parting too much and not having a lot of boundaries. He received treatment at the Malibu alcohol rehabilitation center years ago. It was unclear where he went to rehab this time.
Affleck was last seen out in public last February 26 during the Oscars. He presented with Matt Damon and watched his younger brother, Casey Affleck, win the Best Actor award. It is unclear when he started his rehabilitation.
The revelation came days after reports surfaced claiming he and Garner are getting back together. Other sources said they are not reconciling and the wedding is still on the table. However, the divorce is put on hold due to circumstances not revealed to the public.
