New York City, NY, United States (4E) – The former husband of Bethenny Frankel , Jason Hoppy , went to his daughter’s school and yelled “I will destroy you” directed to the reality star and eventually led to the arrest of the alleged aggressor.
The lawyer of Frankel added that what Hoppy did was bullying and torment on the part of the reality star and his daughter. “Real Housewives of New York” star has been in the news for months now regarding Hoppy as she noted that he has been harassing not only her but also her new boyfriend. Hoppy was charged with harassing and stalking due to the incidents. A New York Police Department spokesman said that Hoppy did send numerous emails and FaceTime calls to Frankel after a cease and desist letter was sent to him late last year.
More on the Friday incident at his daughter’s school, Hoppy reportedly approached Frankel and her friend at her child’s school and was trying to provoke a fight. His exact words were, “I will destroy you, you can get all the lawyers you want, you’ve been warned.” Hoppy denied that he did and said such.
The attorney of Frankel , Barry Zone, said that the decision to report Hoppy’s latest abusive behavior followed years of systematic bullying, harassment, stalking, and torment daily. Zone continued to explain that Hoppy’s acts of mental and psychological abuse could fall under domestic violence. The two were forced to live together even after they split as per the divorce proceedings and Fankel described it as tormenting and excruciating.
The two were married for two years but they had a tumultuous relationship due to the custody battle over their daughter. Hoppy’s attorney claims that he is saddened by the latest allegations of Frankel . The attorney continued to say that Hoppy’s only concern now is his daughter.
