Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have been quiet in the past weeks and new reports have surfaced saying that the therapeutic visitations of the actor with his kids will continue as the FBI closed its inquiry into the child abuse allegations.
As per the latest court documents, the new custody agreement is that the six children of the former couple will remain in Jolie’s custody and that Pitt will have to attend weekly individual therapy sessions. The actor will also have to attend group therapies and random drug tests. The six children, Shiloh Jolie Pitt, Maddox Jolie-Pitt, Vivienne Jolie-Pitt, Zahara Jolie-Pitt, Knox Jolie-Pitt and Pax Jolie-Pitt will continue to have individual counselling as well.
More on the FBI closing their investigation on the child abuse allegations, they said in a statement that they will not pursue further investigation and that no charges have been filed. Last month, Pitt was also cleared of the child abuse allegations by the Los Angeles Country Department of Children and Family Services after a months-long investigation.
Pitt has filed for a joint physical custody over the children but that has not been granted yet. An insider shared, “A judge didn't do anything. This is not a new development or change, this is still part of the voluntary pre-existing agreement between Brad and Angelina. This document is just about what is and has been in place since they came to the agreement months ago. At some point Brad will file to change it.”
It is unclear for how long should the therapeutic sessions last as well as the random drug tests. The doctor who specializes in child-parent conflict and extreme parental conflict was identified as Ian Russ, Ph.D. He is an Encino , California-based doctor.
Since the divorce, Pitt has slowly gotten back to the spotlight for his “Allied” movie. Jolie, on the other hand, appeared for a PSA.
