Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – Brad Pitt has released a statement regarding his situation with his family for the first time since commenting on his divorce from Angelina Jolie.
The latest comments of Pitt came a week after he confirmed that Jolie filed a divorce from him. While talking about the new documentary “Voyage of Time,” Pitt said that the Terrence Malick-directed show is an incredibly beautiful and unique experience for children and their families.
He added that he could not go to the screening of “Voyage of Time.” He explained further that it has something to do with his family. Pitt revealed, “I'm very grateful to be part of such a fascinating and educational project, but I'm currently focused on my family situation and don't want to distract attention away from this extraordinary film, which I encourage everyone to see.”
“Voyage of Time” will be released in two forms, one is a feature-length version narrated by Cate Blanchett while the other is a 40-minuets IMAX show narrated by the “Fury” actor.
Pitt did not comment, however, on the reports that he became verbally and physically abusive towards one of their six children while inside a private plane. Accordingly, Pitt has not seen their children since Jolie filed for divorce.
Accordingly, the sole physical custody over their six children is just a temporary arrangement as Jolie believes it is what is best. Her manager echoed this report saying, “Angelina will always do what’s in the best interest of taking care of her family. She appreciates everyone’s understanding of their need for privacy at this time.” It remains unclear what the reason for the divorce is.
As for Pitt, an insider says that he really wants to see the kids and wants to work out an arrangement that is best for them.
The two share six children namely Maddox, Pax , Zahara , Shiloh, and their twins, Knox and Vivienne .
