Catherine Zeta-Jones, Michael Douglas return to site where he proposed 16 years ago

Aspen, CO, United States (4E) – Husband and wife Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones have returned to the site where he proposed to her 16 years ago.
The two reportedly went to the area on Tuesday as they have been enjoying a skiing holiday in Aspen. In the photo posted on Instagram , Douglas and Zeta-Jones were seen sporting their ski gear as they looked all wrapped up for the weather. They posed in front of mountains and she wrote on the caption the following: “16 years ago, this was the spot where my husband proposed.”
The similar photos were uploaded on her 71-year-old husband’s Facebook page. He wrote in his status: "Scene of the crime… where I proposed to Catherine, New Year's Eve, 1999."
Other photos posted by Zeta-Jones include the two being shown on ski lifts together before they hit the slopes.
The pair also just recently celebrated their 15-year wedding anniversary in November last year. The actress shared a black and white photo on Instagram during the special occasion showing them having their arms wrapped around each other. She wrote on the caption: "Happy Anniversary dearest Michael! Loving our life together, here's to the next 15!"
However, the relationship of the two are not all happy times as they took some time apart in 2013 as they wanted to evaluate and work on their marriage. By the end of 2013, the two reconciled.
In an interview with Ellen DeGeneres on her show, Douglas said that it will only work out for them I both of them are willing to do it. He added, “It can't be a one-way street. I'm crazy about her…I think every couple has their difficult times. The only problem is, as you well know, we're all in the public eye and it tends to get a little more exposed than most. But we're back, stronger than ever.”
Zeta-Jones and Douglas are parents to Dylan, 14, and Carys , 12.
