Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – Former “Scandal” actor Columbus Short was publicly shamed by his wife by posting a video on Instagram saying that he cheated and was then being thrown out of her home.

According to reports, Karrine Steffans accused her partner of cheating. The 37-year-old took to her Instagram to write the following: "Somebody come get @officialcshort cheating ass and all his s—." The video that was posted, on the other hand, showed the clothes of the actor lying all over the floor then pans to him sitting on a chair just silent as Steffans asked if he was okay.

Short has taken it to Twitter to respond to the allegations. He first wrote: "It ain't the first time I've been homeless. But will definitely be the last!! When it's all said and done stand strong stand tall."

A series of tweets then followed wherein he said that it was unfortunate how things ended up as he fels truly for the woman who gave him a home and a place to get his mind right. He added that he loves Steffans and her son, whom he called brilliantly talented, but his toxicity is not healthy. He noted that he is working hard to bring people quality movies, music and art and it will continue to happen.

He also wrote: “How could you not love a woman who took you in a broken place and allow you to heal.” Short said that he is thankful for the journey he had with Steffans . It was unclear if the two are broken up for good.

Short and Steffans , the author of the 2005 memoir “Confessions of a Video Vixen” wed last year. Short was previously married to Tuere Tanee but she filed for divorce last April 2014. Tanee alleged that the actor threatened to kill her and himself.
