Dax Shepard got a vasectomy after Kristen Bell had a pregnancy scare

Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell already share two children and the actor is not up for a third that is why he had a vasectomy and he shared that his wife was the reason he underwent the process because she had a pregnancy scare last year.
Shepard appeared on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” on Wednesday and was asked if the two will be having more kids. The 41-year-old comedian the told Kimmel, “Ah, no. Last year, my wife was working in Atlanta. We were there and she all of a sudden goes, ‘Oh, my gosh! I’m so stupid. I’ve been sick for 10 days and ignoring it. I’m definitely pregnant.’ And I was like, ‘We’re going to turn into Jon & Kate Plus 8 or something. We already have no life! This is going to be not worth living.' I freaked out. It was so bad.”
The father of three-year-old Lincoln and 17-month old Delta added that Bell, 35, was filming all day so he had to wait for a lot of time before she could take a pregnancy test. He continued that the pregnancy false alarm was on Tuesday and he flew home on Wednesday for a meeting. By Thursday, he went ahead and had a vasectomy.
Shepard added that his wife was not thrilled about his news of having a vasectomy as he did it so quickly. He continued to share, “I was back in Atlanta two days after that, shooting a Samsung commercial.”
Although Bell was upset with the vasectomy news, she did say last February 2015 when she appeared on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” that she and her husband only want to have two children as they do not want to be outnumbered. The two have started dating back in 2007 and got married in 2013.
