Jersey City, NJ, United States (4E) – Fabulous Arizona-born actress Emma Stone, she with the emerald eyes and an Oscar for Best Actress in 2017, is the world’s highest paid actress for 2017, earning $26 million from her film and advertising deals, according to Forbes' list of the 10 highest paid actresses worldwide.
Much of Emma's affluence came for her lead role as the aspiring actress and barista named Mia in the hit movie-musical romantic comedy-drama “La La Land,” which won the Oscar for Best Picture in 2017.
Emma, 28 and single, has also won a BAFTA Award; a Golden Globe Award; a Volpi Cup at Venice Film Festival and three Screen Actors Guild Awards.
A scant $500,000 separated Emma from the second highest paid actress on the list, “America’s Sweetheart,” Jennifer Aniston. Jen became and remains famous for her role as waitress and fashionista Rachel Green in the iconic NBC TV sitcom, “Friends,” which ran from 1994 to 2004.
Third on the list is sensual Jennifer Lawrence, the world’s best paid actress in 2015 and 2016. JLaw slid to third with $24 million or almost half of her $46 million earnings in 2016. She only completed three movies in 2016 and 2017, however.
JLaw, 27 and an Oscar Best Actress winner, is often called the most successful actor of her generation. In total, her films have grossed over $5.5 billion worldwide.
