Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – Actress Eva Longoria recently got married to Jose Antonio Baston and she shared more about her married life as well as spoke during the Democratic National Convention against GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump.
The 41-year-old “Telenovela” actress is about to launch her own clothing line with The Limited this August 15 and she shared that it will feature 250 pieces that includes stretch denim, office-ready pencil skirts, body con dresses, and blazers.
She shared about her new fashion line, "I'm really excited. This has been a long, long time in the making. The thing that people don't know about me is that I sew, and so I am really involved in the construction and the seams and the textiles and materials that we use." She revealed that she has worked on this for two years.
As for Longoria’s married life, she said that she loves it and that they recently celebrated two months of being married. Longoria and Baston tied the knot in front of their friends and family during a sunset ceremony in Valle de Bravo in Mexico.
More on her Democratic National Convention speech, she has talked about Trump after he took aim at Mexican immigrants calling them rapists and criminals.
Longoria shared, “Like many of you, this election is very personal to me. I’m from a small town in South Texas and if you know your history, Texas used to be part of Mexico. Now, I’m ninth generation American. My family never crossed a border, the border crossed us.”
She pointed out that Trump calling Mexicans criminals and rapists is actually an insult to American families. She went on to say that her father was not a criminal or a rapist but a United Sates veteran.
She continued, “When Trump cruelly mocked a disabled reporter, he was also mocking my special-needs sister Lisa and many like her. When he said that a wife who works is a very dangerous thing, he not only insulted me, he insulted my mother who worked as a special-education teacher for 40 years and raised four children while being a wife.”
Trump is yet to respond.
