‘Fear The Walking Dead’ S2 casts Dougray Scott

Hollywood, CA, United States (4E) – “Fear The Walking Dead” Season 2 has casted a new character and he will be played by Dougray Scott who has been part of “Desperate Housewives” and “Mission Impossible II” in the past.
Not a lot of details for Scott’s role has been reported but it is speculated that he will be playing the role of Casey. Casey is a decent man who reportedly believes in civility and is “still learning to be a leader. He regrets but accepts the necessary violence for a new vision.”
It was also reported that he will be joining Kim Dickens and other returning actors and actresses from last year’s first season of “Fear The Walking Dead,” an AMC spin-off series of the show “The Walking Dead.” Season 2 of the spin-off series will reportedly be increased to six more episode making it a total of 15 episodes to air. The first episode for the show’s second season will air this April 10.
For the full list of returning actors and actresses for “Fear The Walking Dead” Season 2, fans will still get to see Cliff Curtis, who plays the role of Travis, Frank Dillane as Nick, Alycia Debnam-Carey as Alicia, Lorenzo James Henrie as Christopher, Ruben Blades as Daniel, Mercedes Mason as Ofelia , and Colman Domingo as Victor. Aside from Scott, Arturo Del Puerto and Daniel Zovatto have also been recently casted. They are to play recurring roles for the show’s second season.
The production for “Fear The Walking Dead” Season 2 has begun last December and it is in Baja, Mexico. Showrunner Dave Erickson said in a statement back then, "Baja Studios has been home to some of the greatest ocean-set films in recent years and provides all the creative resources we need to begin this new chapter in the 'Fear' saga." Accordingly, some of the scenes shot for season 2 are in the water and fans are excited to see if it will be safer for the characters or if it will bring more danger.
