Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – Johnny Depp is embroiled in a legal battle with his former managers and they continued to claim that the actor had extravagant ways and he alone was responsible for his financial woes now.

The Mandel Group said in a cross-complaint filed this week that Depp has a sense of entitlement, which they described as clear and epic. They pointed out that this attitude of Depp resulted to his financial distress and that the management did not play any role as to why the actor went bankrupt. The document revealed that Depp’s spending was beyond his earnings and even if he was having financial troubles, he continued his extravagant lifestyle resulting to him borrowing money from others.

The Mandel Group also shared, "Depp, and Depp alone, is fully responsible for any financial turmoil he finds himself in today. He has refused to live within his means, despite the best efforts of TMG and the repeated warnings about his financial condition from TMG and his other advisors. The arithmetic is straightforward: Depp spent more than he brought in, notwithstanding repeated warnings by TMG."

Depp said that he did not know about his financial troubles but The Mandel Group said that was absurd and untrue. Depp also questioned why The Mandel Group did not drop him if he was already out of control and the management said they do not drop a long-term client during their most difficult time.

In January, Depp sued his former financial managers for fraud. They since revealed that Depp overspent because he had to set aside $75 million to maintain 14 homes. He also spends $30,000 monthly just for wine.

Depp and his legal team are yet to comment in the latest statements of The Mandel Group.
