Frank Sinatra Jr. dead at 72, suffered cardiac arrest

Los Angeles, CA, United States (NewsBahn) – Frank Sinatra Jr . died at 72 following cardiac arrest he suffered while touring his family reported Thursday.

Sinatra was the son of the legendary crooner Frank Sinatra and had a successful music career in his own right.

Francis Wayne Sinatra, son of Francis Albert Sinatra, was the middle child of Sinatra and Nancy Barbato Sinatra.

His older sister was singer Nancy Sinatra and his younger sister was TV producer Tina Sinatra.

Frank Jr . contributed as his father's musical director and conductor and went on to perform the same music in Las Vegas and other venues around the country.

Sinatra Sr. died of a heart attack May 14, 1998, at 82.

Celebrities and music artists are mourning the passing of the younger Sinatra.

"I am deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Frank Sinatra Jr and send my sympathy to Tina and Nancy and the Sinatra family," Tony Bennett tweeted.
