Studio City, CA, United States (4E) – Just a day after Gavin Rossdale was reported to have told his ex-wife Gwen Stefani that he does not want her new lover, Blake Shelton, hanging out with his children, he reportedly avoids the TV and the internet all together to avoid seeing his former flame and her new beau.

Stefani and Shelton are all over the news and they have a strong social media presence so a source shared that Rossdale just wants to spend a lot of time with his children.

Stefani and Shelton’s romance has been unfolding week after week on the reality music show “The Voice” and they have gone promoting their songs for their albums “This is What the Truth Feels Like” and “If I’m Honest.” The albums of the two are based on their heartbreaks from their respective divorces, Shelton from Miranda Lambert and Stefani from Rossdale , as well as their road to recovery and finding love again.

Rossdale has also been keeping a low profile since being alleged of cheating with their former nanny, which was said to be the main cause why she and Stefani ended their 12-year marriage. He has also been busy buying new things and a new home for him and his growing boys whenever they come to visit.

The rocker reportedly bought an 8,000-square-foot house in Studio City, California after he moved out of the home he once shared with Stefani. The home is said to be around $7.6 million. The place features six bedrooms, six and a half bathrooms, a pool, and an outdoor kitchen.

A source also shared that the 50-year-old is not dating anyone as of the moment and is said to be still processing the break-up and could do it through music just as what Stefani did. He is also busy hitting the road with his band, Bush. They will be kicking off with a summer tour this July 21.

The source added, "All Gavin is concerned about right now is protecting his kids. He is a fantastic father and his kids have been going through a hard time."

He is also said to be working out a lot since his split with Stefani.
