Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – Amal Alamudin and George Clooney have celebrated their second wedding anniversary and the actor dished about what they did.
The two celebrated two years of being together on September 27 and the actor said that he worked as a chef during that day. He said, "It's very big news. Very, very big celebration—fireworks. Ok, I made dinner." However, he said that he thinks his wife is never impressed with his cooking joking that she does not know their food sometimes come from store-bought ready-to-eat meals.
The pair were present at the Motion Picture Television Fund’s “Night Under The Stars.” It was a benefit event held in Los Angeles. Clooney hosted the event.
Clooney also said that their second anniversary proves that their marriage would last contrary to what people said when they got married in 2014.
He also shared that he is proud of Alamudin for making a case to world leaders to take the Islamic State to court for genocide. He said, “Of course I’m proud of her. Yeah, it comes with risk. You spend an afternoon with that young woman [Nadia], there’s no way you couldn’t stand up for her. She’s so brave. She’s the one who’s the bravest because she’s in the most dangerous [situation]. I think Amal’s decision to [represent her] was, of course, heroic.” Alamudin is representing a Yazidi woman named Nadia who was sold as a slave to the IS.
Witnesses are saying that backstage, Alamudin and Clooney looked cute and affectionate while drinking tequila.
Clooney was also asked about Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s divorce. He kept mum about the matter saying that he has not talked to his good friend yet.
