Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – The famous ABC series “Grey’s Anatomy” will reportedly be adding Wilmer Valderrama for a multi-episode arc, which will be starting this April.
According to reports, the “That 70’s Show” star will be playing the role of Kyle Diaz. However, details about his character are still under wraps. It remain unclear if Valderrama will be playing the role of a patient at the Sloan Grey Memorial or if he will be a new doctor. He could also be the suitor of Meredith Grey since there is no new man in her life after the death of her husband, Derek, last season.
This season, “Grey’s Anatomy” has featured new actors and actresses such as Martin Henderson and Samantha Sloyan . Giocomo Gianniotti has also become a series regular in the long-running medical drama. The series has also been renewed for a 13th season.
Valderrama currently stars in El Re Network’s “From Dusk Till Dawn,” which has been renewed for a third season. He also was part of Fox’s “Minority Report.” He was also part of “That ‘70s Show” and he played the role of Fez for all the eight seasons. He also appeared on “Raising Hope,” “Suburgatory ,” and “Royal Pains.”
More on Meredith Grey, Ellen Pompeo , the actress playing the role of the aforementioned character, said in a recent interview with Cosmo that she is excited for the love life of her Meredith. She shared, “We're moving toward Meredith dating again, so everyone has to get ready for it. I can tell you that I've shot a few scenes, although I don't know where they're going to go, but I have shot a few scenes, and I'm very happy and excited with the way this is unfolding.”
Pompeo pointed out that she is excited for Meredith as her character will soon be seeing happiness and light after the death of her husband. She added, “I hope we get to keep going to down that path.”
It remains unclear when Valderrama’s character will be introduced. “Grey’s Anatomy” airs Thursdays at 8 P.M. on ABC.
