Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – Gwen Stefani does not give too much thought on sexuality as when she was asked about the possibility of having a gay son, she said that she would be blessed.

The 46-year-old mother was interviewed by Pride Source and she said that as long as her sons are happy and healthy, it does not matter to her if they are straight or gay. The former “The Voice” coach then further talked about sexuality. She shared, “I would be blessed with a gay son. You KNOW that I would feel blessed about that. I just want my boys to be happy and healthy, and I just ask God to guide me every day to be a good mother because it is not an easy job.”

The mother of three added that she has been lucky enough to have a blessed life as she is able to travel the world and meet many kinds of people. She added, “I just want my kids to be happy, and whatever journey God gives them is their journey. I just need to be the most supportive mom that I can be and that’s what I’m gonna be.”

Stefani has been under fire in the past for allowing her sons to pain their nails. The singer then said that she does not care what people think especially if they do not know her personally. She noted that if someone says something about her and she does not know them, it does not affect her.

She continued, "So, it doesn't really bother me. As long as my boys are protected and happy and I'm spending quality time with them, whether it's doing sports or doing nails, it really doesn't matter."

Aside from that, Stefani talked about how things have changed for the LGBT community in a positive way. She cited the movie “The Danish Girl” and the “Make Me Like You” singer said that she was blown away by Eddie Redmayne’s portrayal of his character. She added, "I mean, can you imagine back then? Whoa. Now it feels like nothing anymore."

Stefani has three boys with her ex-husband Gavin Rossdale namely nine-year-old Kingston, seven-year-old Zuma , and two-year-old Apollo.
