Jamie Lynn Spears’ daughter Maddie regained consciousness, expected to get better soon

Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – Jamie Lynn Spears’ daughter, Maddie , met an accident over the weekend after her vehicle flipped while she was on an ATV and reports claim that she is getting better now as she regained her consciousness.
Maddie was submerged into the pond for a couple of minutes as it was difficult to remove her from the ATV due to her seatbelt being strapped. As of Tuesday, their family said that the eight-year-old woke up and was able to talk. The incident took place on Sunday in an area in Louisiana.
A statement from the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Department confirmed in a statement, “With her father, mother and stepfather by her side, Maddie regained consciousness mid-day Tuesday, February 7.” Maddie is also aware of her surroundings as she recognizes her family members.
Initially, Maddie was listed under critical condition and remained to be connected to a ventilator. Doctors said later that they were able to remove the ventilator after she woke up and was talking. However, she continues to receive oxygen and is being monitored closely.
The Spears family asked for prayers and respect for their privacy during the trying time. They also claimed that the reports by different publications were false.
Spears had her daughter at the age of 16 while she starred in the Nickelodeon show “Zoey 101.” In a 2016 interview, Spears said of her daughter, “She’s got such a sweet little heart. I feel like I’ve raised her with a lot of honesty, but I’ve also raised her with a lot of love. She’s a very happy, content little girl, and there’s nothing more a parent could ask for. That’s my most proud accomplishment out of anything and always will be.” She raised her daughter away from the spotlight.
