Jennifer Garner, Ben Affleck arrive at the Oscars separately; attend same after party

Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck have recently reunited for their son’s birthday party but the two did not arrive for the Oscars 2016 together.
However, reports are saying that they both attended the private 2016 Vanity Fair Oscar Party, which was hosted by Graydon Carter. They did not initially greet the other party as they were standing a few feet away from each other. They were chatting with other party guests.
The two were then spotted greeting each other with a hug and a kiss on the cheek later in the night at the aforementioned party. At one point, Garner held Affleck’s collars making it look as if she was complimenting how he looked for the evening. They were also seen mingling with the Best Actor and Actress winners Leonardo DiCaprio and Brie Larson.
An insider shared, "They had a nice moment where they caught up and a lot of their friends were there – and they chatted and then they left."
Garner presented during the awards with Benicio Del Toro. She wore an off-the-shoulder black Atelier Versace gown. Just recently, Garner’s cover interview with Vanity Fair was published and she detailed her split from Affleck. The two were married for 10 years but called it quits last year.
Garner said in her interview that the alleged affair between Affleck and their former nanny came after they decided to get a divorce. She noted that it was not a contributing factor to their decision to separate. Also, she said that she would marry Affleck all over again if she could go back in time.
The two remain to be friendly exes as they have said in the past that they want what is best for their children. The former couple share three children and are usually seen together during important family events.
