Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – Jennifer Garner has talked about her new film “Miracles From Heaven” and she reflected that bad things happen to good people.

In the new flick, Garner plays the role of Christy Beam, the real-life mom of a 10-year-old girl named Anna who was diagnosed with a fatal and incurable digestive disease. At one point of the film, Christy loses her faith and stops going to church. As per the trailer, Anna falls from a tree and her disease has been cured.

Anna gets suddenly cured and she said that she talked to God during the freak accident. She was unharmed when she fell three stories to the bottom of a tree.

In a recent interview, Garner shared that despite her role, she has never lost faith. She revealed, "You can’t expect the world just to be good. You can’t have faith if only good things are happening in the world. That’s the whole point. You have to dig deeper to rely on something. The world is a complicated place…The world is full of extreme views and complications and it’s driven by all kinds of things out of our control."

The mother of three also said that the show inspired her to attend church services again with her three children. She pointed out that it was what she did growing up in West Virginia. She added, "I hadn’t been participating in giving them some kind of ground under them in the way that my parents had done for me. I just expected them to have it because I do."

She also noted that she does not want her kids to hear her curse but admitted that sometimes she curse a lot but she has to “clean it back up because I really don’t like to hear it so much.”

As for her family, she, her kids and Ben Affleck went on a brunch on Sunday for a quality family time. They were seen grabbing brunch with their daughters seven-year-old Seraphina and 10-year-old Violet in Los Angeles. They were at the Amandine Patisserie Café .

An insider shared, "Ben and Jen seemed totally fine. They actually acted like they enjoyed hanging out. They were smiling and very friendly. Things definitely seem much better. They also hung out at home over the weekend. The vibe is much happier."
