Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – Johnny Depp faces another legal woe he and his former managers have taken it to the courts to sort charges regarding fraud and negligence and one of them claimed that the actor is a habitual liar.

Depp said in a recent interview that the managers from The Management Group (TMG), managed by Joel and Rob Mandel, let him down. Now, through their spokesman David Shane, they said that Depp is a habitual liar who denies responsibility “for his own outrageous conduct and coerces others to lie for him. Johnny Depp and his sister were involved in every significant business decision during the 17 years TMG represented him. Depp now admits to his extravagant spending but blames TMG for not dropping him as a client."

Depp sued TMG in January for more than $25 million. TMG countersued saying that Depp has a lavish lifestyle and spends around $2 million a month despite being warned. Depp then questioned in a recent interview with The Wall Street Journal why TMG did not trip him over his spending. He also argued that he could spend his money whichever way he wants.

His comments came after TMG said that Depp paid more than $75 million to buy and maintain 14 homes as well as islands in the Bahamas. He also bought a 150-foot yacht and collect fine arts. Depp told The Wall Street Journal, “It’s my money… If I want to buy 15,000 cotton balls a day, it’s my thing.”

Depp has not yet commented on TMG’s statement calling him a habitual liar.
