New York City, NY, United States (4E) – Justin Bieber showed off his newest tattoo, which was located near his right eye and is a tiny cross, on his Instagram post.
The “What Do You Mean” crooner is currently traveling across the country for his “Purpose” album tour and fans noticed the new ink on his latest post over the weekend. The snap showed Bieber posing for a selfie wherein he had his hand covering the other half of his face. The other half, on the other hand, showed off the tiny tattoo near his eye.
The black and white snap posted by Bieber was captioned with the following statement: "Resting up for the show in Philly. It's gonna be a good one mark my words."
According to the tattoo artist, Jonathan “JonBoy” Valena , who made the new ink of Bieber, he did the ink of a small cross near the corner of Bieber’s eye noting that it was a representation of the singer’s faith in Jesus and “his journey with finding purpose in God.” The ink was made at West 4 Tattoo in New York City.
In his recent interview with GQ magazine, Bieber explained in a behind-the-scenes video the different meaning of his tattoos. One tattoo paid tribute to his mother while another was for the daughter of his friend. He also explained the tattoo of his ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez was something he tried to cover up but revealed that people will always know that it is about her.
Another notable tattoo of Bieber is an image of Jesus’ face on his left calf and another cross in the center of his chest. He also recently had angel’s wings tattooed on his back.
