Katy Perry talks about boyfriend Orlando Bloom for the first time

Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom have been dating for months now but this is the first time that the singer has talked about being in a relationship with the actor.
The “Roar” singer shared that one of the problems she faces regarding dating Bloom is the distance of the area where they live. Perry was interviewed by Women’s Wear Daily and she shared that Bloom lives in Malibu so she has to get used to the hour-long drive. Perry lives in Santa Barbara, California.
The 31-year-old shared, "There's no pop-over and I never really got used to Malibu ‘cause it's halfway to Santa Barbara, so I'm always just going to Santa Barbara then. I get the whole coming to L.A. and living by the beach thing. But it's really like, it's so far, nobody [who lives in town] is going to come see you." She also revealed that Bloom has visited her hometown, which she dubbed as the poorest part of Santa Barbara.
Perry revealed that she does stay in Santa Barbara sometimes and she makes a lot of music there and has to dress like a normal person because of how the community is. She said that their community is church-centered. Perry also revealed that she lived in food stamps back in the day.
Perry and Bloom have been dating for eight months now and they have been spotted packing on the PDA in their recent vacations and trips.
Perry did not touch on the subject of getting committed such as being married to Bloom but a source said that the 31-year-old singer and the 39-year-old actor have become more serious and have talked about settling down and having children.
A source shared, “They are in love and happier than ever. [Orlando] would like to get engaged to [Katy] before the year is up. [Marriage and children] is something Katy has always wanted when she met the man she was ready to settle down with.”
