Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – Kelly Clarkson and her husband have welcomed their second bundle of joy, a son named Remington Alexander.
According to reports, another major chapter in the life of the “American Idol” star started this April 12. Her tweet regarding the announcement of her and Brandon Blackstock’s baby’s arrival reads: "Our little baby boy has arrived!! Remington Alexander Blackstock was born 4/12/16 & he is healthy & we couldn't be happier or more in love!" The singer has been silent on social media in the past days but broke it with the most recent tweet.
Clarkson, 33, and Brandon, married back in 2013. They had their first child, a daughter named River Rose, in June 2014. She is also a stepmother to two more children as the talent manager had them in his first marriage.
The “Since U Been Gone” singer first announced her second pregnancy during her concert in Los Angeles last October. She told the crowd that it was not the way she wanted to announce that she has a bun in the oven but she got so emotional.
She added, “My makeup artist is backstage hating me. I didn't want you to think I'm on pills or something. I would like to apologize to my husband. This was not planned. I'm just so hormonal. Everything is great, I haven't vomited yet. That's a win y'all.” It is known for a fact that the singer faced a difficult pregnancy with River Rose as she underwent a lot of struggles.
Back in December of 2013, the singer told Ellen DeGeneres on her show that she vomits a lot during her first pregnancy. She added that she even vomited before coming out for the show. The singer continued, “I'm not even kidding. It's so bad. It's so bad. It's, like, so gross. And that's the thing, too: You're not attractive when you're pregnant.”
The singer is yet to post a photo of her newborn son.
